FAQs

Q: Is this the best brand? The quality of how?
A: As the owner I may be a little bias but I will share some numbers and facts with you. We are a small business veteran owned company that has amassed a following of over 17000 moms on Facebook whom were a part of the testing phase to ensure we listened to what moms wanted. Founded in 2018, we have sold over 25000 units to American moms with less than a 7% return rate due mostly to sizing (please see pictures for sizing) and lastly we have reviews (authentic reviews) of instant relief. Feel free to give our brand a try with confidence.
Q: Can you wear this to sleep I feel like I struggle more at night than the day?
A: I don’t know you’re supposed to, but I did. Not every night though. The nights I wore it, I had the best sleep. It definitely made it easier to roll over.
Q: I was a size 20 in pants pre pregnancy, would a size XL fit me?
A: I'm an 18 and it fits me ok
Q: I am 25 weeks pregnant and my belly measures 40 inches, what size do you recommend I get?
A: Hello. All women experience their pregnancy differently. Some gain their weight early and some don't bloom until late. If you feel like you have gained the majority of your baby weight I would recommend the medium. But if you are unsure of your weight gaining process and feel like there's more to come then choose the large size. Either way your current size is covered. Going with the large though, will put less strain on the Velcro and last longer.
Q: What is the difference between x-large and xl?
A: Absolutely nothing. Amazon has a glitch where they have placed a purple xl in its own sizing button. Ordering from either will get you the xl size
Q: If my lower belly/hip area measured 46inches before pregnancy will the XL fit? I'm 5 months along now
A: One of the other answers tells you how to measure for a good fit. I purchased this for my granddaughter.
Q: I have no clue what size to get. Can it be compared to pant size or weight? Not sure what to measure
A: Hello, the size is measured around your belly. Thank you for asking because the size does NOT translate to your pants size. Measure around the belly and depending on how far along you are please that measurement near the middle to the low end of the size range for each belt. Each belt has about 12 inches of growing room. Congrats on your family's pregnancy
Q: Why don't y'all have a 2XL?
A: Thank you for your question. We are carefully considering the demand for a 2xl size. Your inquiry has been added to that demand.
Q: I am 119 cm and 31 weeks pregnant what size do i need
A: I don't know exactly what to tell you but I would not get a small or a medium. I'm a larger woman and I bought an extra large. this fits me fin but I'm wearing it for medical reasons not because I'm pregnant. These things are adjustable with Velcro. I have to tell you the Velcro does wear out fairly quickly but I told someone else to just go to a material store and buy a couple (or what you feel you need) strips of Velcro and throw a couple stitches into the Velcro into the belt. I haven't done it myself but it makes sense it would work fine. I bought two sets of these. I do like them and brought the instructions into my doctor to suggest for her other patients. It's very light weight
Q: I opened my box and I am missing the other band for last trimester. How do I get the missing band?
A: Email the seller
Q: Can you wear this postpartum? I’ve seen a couple of other ones you can wear the opposite way for postpartum recovery
A: Yes you can but there has been no proof that any pregnancy belt is beneficial as a postpartum belt. Most companies convey this as an added bonus to appeal to the customer. We at Comfy Mom will not advertise an unproven theory to get more sales. Comfy Mom Products does not recommend using any pregnancy belt as a postpartum belt.
Q: Do you have a size chart or suggested size i have no idea what size to buy.
A: Yes we do! It's the link right next to the size selection on the listing. Our small is 27.5-39.3 inches. Medium is 31.4-43.3 inches. Large is 35.4-47.2 inches and extra large is 39.3-51.1 inches.
Q: I have no idea what size to get! I’m 5’1.. pretty petite, before pregnancy I weighed 120. I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant?
A: Measure around the lower belly. Place your measurement closer to the lower end of the size range for longevity or higher end of the size range for fit.
Q: how do you measure for the size? from lower back to under belly?
A: Measure around the lower belly. Place your measurement closer to the lower end of the size range for longevity or higher end of the size range for fit.
Q: Hi I’m 45 inches and 6 months what size should I get ?
A: Extra large
Q: Are they one size fits all? There are 4 different sizes listed but I don't know what size I need??
A: No Ma'am/Sir, Comfy Mom Belts are not one size fits all. Measure around the lower half of the pregnant belly and make sure that measure is in the middle to lower half of the size rang for each belt. On the amazon listing I have a picture that tells the customer the size range for each belt. I hope this helps and congrats on your family's pregnancy
Q: Would this belt help aid in sciatic nerve pain?
A: No
Q: After two months Velcro is worn out and wife can’t use it. Love love love it- bow in 7th month.... can you help us please?
A: I'm running into this same problem and am thinking of running to my closest material shop and buy a couple strips of Velcro to use. I'm using this belt for a medical reason not for the reason your wife is but I would think she could do the same or buttons if possible --but-- she's growing and I'm not so that might not be a useful suggestion....go buy some new Velcro strips and experiment a bit with it ....I'm sure you'll have to replace it every now and then though
Q: Anyone pregnant with twins use this? Normally a size 6 in pants and medium shirt. Not sure which size to go with.
A: Comfy mom belt fit a belly up to 51 inches around. There are reviews specifically by moms who are having twins. Keep in my all back braces are use for active people on the move
Q: where do I measure for size
A: Measure around the lower belly. Place your measurement closer to the lower end of the size range for longevity or higher end of the size range for fit.
Q: I am 4 months pregnant and i measure 30-31 on my lower part of my belly... before i was about 25 very skinny ..what size should i get?
A: At 4 months pregnant I would choose medium. You're only half way there and have time to grow
Q: Is the comfortable to sleep in?
A: There are many websites and sources that would suggest only using the Maternity belt when active.
Q: What is the return policy?
A: Amazon's return policy is 30 days. If it's beyond the 30 days find our company on social media for extended circumstances
Q: Cqn you use this as a belly binder after pregnancy also
A: No I tried it and it doesn't help with firming the tummy after birth... I'm 3 weeks postpartum
Q: Im wearing size small maternity pant what size belt should I get
A: I say get a size bigger. Everything spreads
Q: Will this fit under clothes?
A: Yes it fits under clothes. No one could tell I had it on and I wore it everyday day. My only complaint was the first band didn't stick tightly ( the Velcro) after about 6 months however I managed...
Q: Do you accept returns?
A: Not sure what you are asking. I didn’t return mines.
Q: I am 36 inches & 7 months, what size do i need?
A: Thank you for your consideration. If the 36 inches is around your belly, at 7 months you should get a large. In the past trimester you should be nearing but not fully your final sizes. Each belt has 12 inches of growing room so if you get a large you should he fine. Congrats btw!
Q: I see a lot of reviews saying it relieves back pain, but does it also relieve that “heavy” belly feeling?
A: It helped very well for my wife with keeping her belly up in relation to that heavy belly feeling your referring to and somewhat with her back and hip pain. It did not help with any of her pubic pain. The only thing that we did not like about the product was that it lasted about only 2 months with everyday use and with using both sides. The Velcro stopped sticking and kept popping off making it useless in the end.
Q: Does it have inner steel frame to support the back?
A: No steel frame...but it gives tremendous back support.
Q: My wife is 5’2” and is a small woman what size should I get her
A: Get her a small or medium, because the belly will grow.
Q: Hello. I'm reading in a few of your reviews that you have not offered refunds. Is that the case?
A: I didn't need a refund
Q: I am 25 weeks along and my belly is measuring 40 inches, what size should i order?
A: Just a medium or large that way your belly can grow into it plus it expands to fit your belly
Q: Anyone pregnant with twins use this? Normally a size 6 in pants and medium shirt. Not sure which size to go with.
A: Greetings and thank you for the question. The best thing to do is measure around you belly for an accurate size. We have followers on our Facebook company page who had twins say it was good. Follow us there.
Q: Is there a possible video on how to put this on? The pictures are confusing for me
A: You put the little one on first. Then the bigger one goes on by wrapping around your back and attaching to the front. Then you strap the belly strap up and around your stomach.
Q: I ordered a xl but received a large can i get the size i need asap i only have 9 weeks left in my pregnancy?
A: You need to email the seller or go through the app
QWhen will there be more xl black bands?
A: Greetings, We are so happy you're interested in our products. unfortunately the Comfy Mom black XL maternity belt will not be in stock until next month. Good news! our large belts have about 10 inches of adjustment room and it may fit your required size. join me at our Facebook page for more details and like minded mothers ---> https://www.facebook.com/ComfyMomProducts/
Q: I am 4 months pregnant and measure 38 inches- what size should I get?
A: Thank you for the question. Be sure that measurement is around the belly and NOT the hip or waist. If your belly measurement is 38 with 5 months to go I would get a large. If you feel you have significantly more growing to do and extra large may be needed in your future.
Q: I ordered one and its going to be too tight if I get any bigger should I size up or should it be tight?
A: Thank you for your interest in our brand. Your size should be closer to the middle of the size range per belt. If you feel you will out grow your belt you should size up.
Q: Would you need to change sizes as one's belly grows?
A: No
Q: Where exactly in the belly should I measure
A: measure around the lower half of the belly. typically from the belly button to the small of the back. hope this helps :) you can find more answer though searching @comfymomproducts on social media sites
Q: Is there a way to clean this?
A: I do not recall cleaning instructions on the package. Because of the structuring I would say spot clean. I do not think the washing machine would be appropriate. However I WOULD recommend wearing this over the belly band of your pants or over an undershirt. It is not really something you want against your skin all day. (Super comfortable though over at least 1 layer of clothing!)
Q: I ordered the medium but I just found out I need the large could you possibly ship me the large even though I ordered medium?
A: No. You will need to reorder or exchange through the app.
Q: I’m 6 months pregnant and measured about 42 in which size should I get? I’m 5’1 and about 147lbs
A: Use the sizing chart
